Industrial and commercial facilities often need custom electrical control panels — purpose-built enclosures that manage power distribution, motor control, protection, and automation. Xi-TEK designs, builds, and commissions these panels for clients across Rwanda.
What Is a Control Panel?
A control panel (also called a distribution board, MCC, or switchboard depending on its function) is a fabricated enclosure containing circuit breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, and other electrical components arranged to control a specific electrical system. Every panel we build is custom-designed for the client's exact load and protection requirements.
Our Design Process
- 01. Load analysis and single-line diagram preparation
- 02. Component selection (breakers, contactors, relays, bus bars)
- 03. Enclosure sizing and IP rating selection
- 04. Panel layout drawing — component placement and wiring routes
- 05. Assembly and internal wiring
- 06. Factory acceptance testing (FAT) before site delivery
- 07. Site installation, termination, and commissioning
Standards matter: All our panels are assembled to IEC standards with proper cable sizing, ferrule labelling, and protection coordination to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Industries We Serve
We have built control panels for manufacturing facilities, cold storage plants, water pumping stations, hotels, and commercial office buildings. Each project comes with full as-built drawings and a commissioning report.
